Welcome to MediChakri (“we”, “us”, “our”). These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of
MediChakri.com (the “Website”) and related services (the “Services”).
By accessing or using MediChakri, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website.

1) About MediChakri

MediChakri is a job portal platform focused on the healthcare sector in Bangladesh, connecting employers (e.g., hospitals, clinics, diagnostic centers) with candidates
(e.g., doctors, nurses, medical technologists, DMF, etc.). We currently do not operate a physical office.

2) General Disclaimer

This Website is publicly accessible and free to browse. MediChakri assumes no liability for the quality, accuracy, or genuineness of any information posted by users (employers or candidates).
You must conduct your own checks and verification before making decisions.

  • We are not responsible for employer-provided job descriptions, requirements, or selection processes.
  • We do not guarantee any response, interview, or job offer to candidates.
  • We do not verify employer organizations or job posts by default.
  • Any reliance you place on user-generated content is strictly at your own risk.

3) Accounts & Eligibility

  • You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating accounts or posting content.
  • You are solely responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and all activities under your account.
  • We reserve the right to remove, edit, or restrict access to any account or content that violates these Terms or applicable law.

4) CV Display

  • Candidates may post/submit their CVs on MediChakri free of cost.
  • CVs can be updated at any time. We may reformat CVs to fit database or display requirements.
  • We do not guarantee any response or outcome from CV display.
  • We are not responsible for data loss, corruption, or technical issues beyond our reasonable control.

5) Job Posting (Classified / Standard)

  • Employers may post jobs on MediChakri. Currently there is no fixed limit on the number of postings.
  • We reserve the right to reject, remove, or edit any job posting at our discretion, without prior notice.
  • Employers must ensure that listed jobs are genuine, available, and lawful. Employers must not charge application/processing fees from candidates.
  • We do not guarantee responses or hires from any job posting.
  • We are not responsible for any technical delays, outages, or data loss.

6) Featured / Hot Jobs

  • MediChakri may offer featured placement or “Hot Jobs” display for increased visibility.
  • Featured placement does not guarantee responses or hiring outcomes.
  • We may modify layout, look and feel, or prominence of sections at any time without notice.
  • Featured services for candidates (where applicable) remain free.

7) Manual Shortlisting

  • Where offered, our team may open, read, and sort CVs based on employer-specified parameters.
  • We are not responsible for any data loss or technical issues.
  • Any aggregated or anonymized insights from shortlisting may be used to improve services and user experience.

8) Display of Banners / Promotions

  • We may display banner ads or promotions on a rotation basis. Placement may vary at our discretion.
  • We reserve the right to reject any promotional material without assigning reasons.
  • No guarantee is provided regarding impressions, clicks, or responses.

9) SMS / Email Notifications & Communications

  • We may send notifications (e.g., job alerts, interview reminders) and occasional promotional, informational communications or others.
  • You can opt out of non-essential marketing communications at any time via provided unsubscribe options.
  • Employers must not use messaging features for general marketing in violation of these Terms.

10) Data, Security & Cookies

  • We implement reasonable measures to protect data, but we do not guarantee absolute security.
  • We are not responsible for data loss, breaches, or corruption.
  • We may use cookies and similar technologies to improve functionality and personalize experience.

11) Refund Policy

Refunds (if applicable for any paid services) are limited and subject to the conditions below:

  • Eligibility: Duplicate purchase due to technical error, or significant service disruption preventing access to paid features.
  • Timeframe: Request must be made within 3 days of payment. Please allow 24 hours after purchase for automatic activation before requesting a refund.
  • Method: Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within 10 working days. No cash refunds.
  • Discretion: We reserve the right to verify and, if necessary, reject any refund request to prevent fraudulent claims.

12) App Permissions

  • If using our mobile application, certain device permissions may be required for core functionality and personalization.
  • Details of requested permissions will be displayed by your device/OS during installation or first use.

13) Important Warnings & Fraud

  • MediChakri is a platform connecting employers and candidates. We are not part of any financial transactions between parties.
  • Never pay any fees (e.g., registration fee, refundable fee, processing fee) to apply for jobs.
  • Do not share sensitive financial information (credit/debit card details, bank accounts, OTPs) with anyone.
  • We are not responsible for any loss, scam, or fraud arising from direct dealings between users.
  • Report suspicious activity to us immediately at [email protected].

14) Intellectual Property

  • All Website content, trademarks, logos, and design elements are the property of MediChakri or its licensors.
  • You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without prior written permission.

15) Acceptable Use & Prohibited Activities

  • Do not post false, misleading, unlawful, or infringing content.
  • Do not harass, abuse, or discriminate against other users.
  • Do not attempt to breach security, scrape, or reverse-engineer the Website.
  • Do not upload malware, spam, or use the platform for unsolicited marketing.
  • We may remove content and/or suspend accounts that violate these rules.

16) Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MediChakri will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or revenues,
